Celebrating a Milestone: The Topping Out of Caringbah Pavilion

An exciting new chapter for Caringbah.

On Thursday 12 February, 2026 Conquest celebrated the topping out of Caringbah Pavilion in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire.

Commencing at 11am, the ceremony brought together project partners, consultants, trades, and local stakeholders to acknowledge the significant progress of a development set to redefine urban living in the heart of Caringbah.

Speaking at the event, Conquest CEO Michael Akkawi reflected on the journey to date and the significance of reaching this structural milestone. Michael highlighted the urgent need for diverse housing solutions in Sydney, noting that Conquest is looking forward to delivering the Caringbah Pavilion Precinct as a high-quality response to this demand. He emphasised the project’s role in providing much-needed supply while maintaining a commitment to excellence in design and construction.

Michael was joined by the Mayor of the Sutherland Shire, Jack Boyd (pictured above), who spoke to the gathering about the positive impact the precinct will have on the local community and the Shire’s evolving landscape.

Following the formalities, guests were invited to a magnificent BBQ on the rooftop. It provided a wonderful opportunity for the team to mingle and take a moment to appreciate the collective effort and craftsmanship that has brought Caringbah Pavilion to this stage. From the elevated vantage point, attendees could truly envision the lifestyle and connectivity the finished precinct will offer residents.

As the project enters its next phase of internal fit-outs and finishing, the vision for this landmark development continues to take shape ahead of its upcoming completion.

Conquest extend sour sincere thanks to the Sutherland Shire Council, our consultants, trades, and broader project partners for their ongoing dedication and hard work in reaching this milestone.
